Hey when I was going through the iPod Touch Manual (in my lots of spare time) i found a piece of information that made me wonder.....(see attachment, read under zooming)

So is the iPod Touch to have maps eventually or what?:confused:

They could easily have put Google Maps on the system like the iPhone has. They didn't. Makes me think they removed it deliberately to make the iphone more attractive. I hope that they did this because they wanted to keep the first release trim and get it out quickly, and that they will introduce it in the future. Same with Calender "+" additions.

quick

probably just forgot to take it out from the iphone manual.

The IPT(yes, im tired of typing ipod touch...) came out so fast and was suck a quick release from the iphone that im sure it was another 'bluetooth' type issue where someone didnt proofread/check very well.

Hope thats not true though. Good find though!
