I am sooo pissed. This is not funny. I was playing Sim City when my Ipod battery died. Closed the program then powered off. So i plugged it into charge took it off and i doesn't work. None of my apps do. The only ones that do are the ones that come with the Ipod. Mail, Calendar ect. What do i do!?

Can sometimes be an authorization issue, couple of things you can try,

Syncing with iTunes may help provided iTunes is logged into the same account that the apps were purchased on.

On your device go to Setting>Store and log out of your iTunes account, then log back in to the account the apps were purchased on and try them again.

Try downloading a free app directly to your device via wi-fi.

This just happened to my iPhone 3G.
I downloaded some EA games last night and this morning I restarted the phone.
It hung with the apple logo so I pressed both buttons for 10 seconds to restart.
Now the only apps that work are the default Apple apps.
I planned to do a backup today before I would download and upgrade to ios4, but now I don't now what to do.
My To-Do app don't work, my password manager app don't workthe trainning app, the Navigon GPS, no games, etc.

Update:

I logged on to the App Store and I downloaded a free app and used it immediately, no restart.
Then I tried other apps and they all work.

Strange behaviour though.
