Ok, a week ago I went to turn my Ipod touch (3rd gen.) out of sleep mode an it just simply didn't turn on. I tried plugging it into my PC, wall charger and stereo dock. Still it didn't turn on. It has never came into contact with water and is NOT jailbroken or hacked in any way. There is nothing else left that I know of to do to try and get it to turn on. Any help that anyone could offer would be very appreciated.

How long did you let it sync to those?

Is it fully charged?

Either way, plug it into a computer. Either the syncing or the charging will fix it

+1.

This has happened to me (even though the battery was over half charged). Letting it charge for 10 minutes woke it up / fixed it.
