Available from apple. However, to install it is quite a process which is explained by a kind soul at versiontracker which I will paste here for everyone. baraksf _ Oct 2, 2002 _ _ The past two updates for the ipods have sucked in terms of intuitiveness. Here's how you need to install it: 1. Download the updater. 2. Run "iPod.pkg". ** ** iPod.pkg will ONLY install on the hard drive thats running your OS. 3. Quit iTunes and disconnect your ipod from the computer. 4. Reconnect ipod. A message will come up saying a software update has been detected for the ipod and do you wish to update. Click yes. The updater on your computer will prepare your ipod for updating. 5. Then follow your IPOD screen directions. When you see "OK to disconnect", unplug your ipod again. 6. Reconnect your ipod. The firmware update will really install this time. A couple minutes later, it'll be all set to go. This updater only gets 3 stars because the directions aren't included, its unintuitive, it has so many steps and you have to unplug your ipod not once, but TWICE.__ _ Good Luck!
