I'm wondering why would somebody buy that for Touch at least. It just does not make much sense to me.

Why? They are great for stopping scratches. Nice little case that doesn't detract from the iPod.

I bought some iPod socks for my touch as I found them cheap. I got them as it clearly needs something!
Not sure how well they will fit mind, they just fit my old palm m505 which is slightly bigger in all dimensions, so I expect they'll be ok. I just hope the inside doesn't damage the screen, but I've ordered some sheild protectors too, but as they are on pre-order I might have my touch before I have them.

Are you all talking about Genuine Apple Socks or fakes? Because I have a $5 pack from Walmart and I hope they will be ok.

I don't have a sock, but I have the slip cover case that came with my 80gig iPod, and it works great!
