I'm looking to purchase a iPP 9,7" to join my 12" 128gb Wifi iPP.

This will turn into my on the go machine.

    I've found 2 deals:

    A) Space Grey 128gb Wifi iPP for 810$
    B) Space Grey 256gb LTE/Wifi for 1100$

Both are good deals, but i wonder if the 290$ difference is worth it?

I I'll probably never use the LTE, unless I'm on holiday, then I MAY use it one week in de year.

Basically for storing films etc, the 128gb would be nice. Which brings me to my next point.

If I got the 128gb I would get a SanDisk 200gb Connect Stick to use with my existing iPad etc, this I can get for 150$. I've had no experience with these, but they seem to work, and if I can combine this with my VLC app then I'll be super happy!

So if it was up to you? Which would you pick?

Get the 256gb LTE. You won't be able to use the Sandisk to watch movies bought through iTunes. This got changed in iOS 8 I believe. Also, you would need to have multiple devices with you, not that the sandisk connect stick is all that big, keep them both charged, etc. It is much easier to just have to worry about 1 device. Another reason is that you may not plan to use the LTE but it sure is nice to have it, especially free data from T-Mobile.

I ended up buying a iPP 256gb Wifi new from the store with EDU discount. Turns out the deal was for a stolen iPad, so for my own safety I went apple ;)
