I have a week 38 iPT and i thought the lcd was perfect until I ran some tests. Then i noticed a few dead pixels (which are unnoticeable), but what really shocked me were the many green/blue sparkles that I can see when I angle the screen. Are these stuck sub pixels or something? Can anyone tell me if this is normal for the iPT screen? For any screen?

Does anyone else have these dead subpixels either?

*To check for these sparkles, turn up to max brightness and turn auto brightness off. Then display a black picture or go to home menu.

Thanks!

Yea! Why not spend $300+ on a product that may or may not be sub-par.

Anyways mine had the same issue, only with at least 25+ hot pixels. It's extremely annoying when watching a dark movie.

And yes this is probably normal for an iPT screen, and no it would not be normal for a any other LCD screen in the world. You can probably get a replacement if it bothers you that much, and if there is an apple store nearby to examine it.
