Is this considered a good deal, a great deal (one to jump on quick), or a relatively okay deal? Please try to be honest and rational.

I am a 4S owner who has decided to skip signing a two year contract with the 5S this year and want to re-up with the iPhone 6.

For me it's not. $400 maybe.

I'm in NYC area. A lot of the 16GB models are going for $400 listed.

Most 16GB 4S models are listed for $275 to $300 so for making the jump from 4S to 5 and from 16GB to 64GB makes me wonder.

Wonder if it's legit? U asking if one of us will come with you? ;)

Maybe it's a locked Sprint.

Well. I told the guy I will meet him at the AT&T store and after they confirm it isn't stolen and my number is safely transferred over I will give him the cash.

Have you thought about going for the upgrade price and selling off the iPhone 5s when the 6 comes? My plan actually saves me money...

I'm not due for a full upgrade but I am eligible for a partial upgrade. I have a 64GB iphone 5 that best buy will trade for a $400 gift card.

My early upgrade price is $649. So for $400 off that I'm only paying $249, cheaper than the $399 upgrade.

I'm also debating getting the 32gb as I'm only using up 16GBs on my current phone thanks to spotify and not needing to store a lot of music. That early upgrade price is $549 so out of pocket for me would be $149.

I did this with the 4s to 5.

I forgot to add that I could deal with selling privately on CL or ebay to get more money but my phone has so many dents on the sides that I don't want to bother with finding a buyer for it and BB is good to go with the trade.
