While many things happened just the way we were told, others were a conspiracy and I am sure most could agree on that. But what about virtually every major American event that has political implications...are those ALL conspiracies?

Also does going with every conspiracy water down the legitimate inquiries into further investigations of other disputed events? (Iraq WMDs, Benghazi, Pat Tillman, etc)?

I don't believe that everything is a conspiracy.

But I do know ... that is a very bad look for Jesse Ventura.

    Dude.

    Get your hair cut.

Ventura went for the Ben Franklin look, hoping to gain a bigger chunk of the Quaker vote.

Perhaps he'll receive an endorsement from Wilford Brimley.

any discussion or plan between two or more people (in private) to get an advantage over another person constitutes a conspiracy.

Probably includes sale tactics for businesses
    most trade negotiations
    Most local or government meetings

I like conspiracies but I do feel a lot of them are hot air.

Seen from this side of the water, Events are very quickly turned into political ammo, by the near toxic atmosphere of todays US politics.

Also the semi reality TV programs, and 24 hour news cycle, just makes the situation worse.

Agreed. What is awful is both parties running their policies based on what it will look like on 24 hour CNN and Fox. It gives the less important issues more power than it deserves while the larger, less sensationalistic stuff like the economy takes a back seat. Ted Cruz can talk all day about the economy but gets further by being a bigot and speaking directly to them who, while small, are very vocal and good product for the news. It will always make news to rail against gay marriage, medical marijuana, and abortion while the economy continues to be in a sinkhole.

Also while there are far more positive points about Obamacare, it's the few bad issues that the news likes to blow up and then all the political attention goes that way.

Considering the US was founded on a plethora of legal loopholes in the guise of freedom and liberty for the white man, I wouldn't put it behind them [US politicians] to conspire against their own people just to get the right vote and gain or keep the control over the country.

Everything else is just a distraction to keep the people occupied with nonsense.

Honestly the only set of conspiracies I consider maybe plausible are some of the ones related to John F Kennedy's assassination. And that's simply because the circumstances for these particular conspiracies are not completely implausible. (It always gets me when the conspiracy theory is more convoluted than the official account)

Well, by definition 9/11 was a conspiracy. The only question is whether the conspirators were Al Qaeda or someone else.

Most conspiracies revolve around the notion of the ultra rich manipulating and buying politicians to increase their own wealth and power...

    Seems plausible enough...

It's nice to see there are some people out there that can realize on their own that a lot of these reported events aren't exactly how they have been reported to be. Regardless of what you think happened on 9/11, Building 7 should have at least stirred something that this wasn't right.

None of this is a conspiracy, it only seems that way because we (the general population) isn't privy to what these people have planned. It all goes exactly according to plan for them.

"Follow the money" does not only apply to criminal investigations. ;)

And money is but a substitute for the labour of others.

    Up the revolution??? :p

You must have missed seeing the phrase "harmful or illegal" in Webster's definition.
