Other is front and back glass the most delicate part of iphone?

In other words, when my phone drops, if I don't see any sign of damage for the front and back glass, can I safely assume that all internal parts and components are good?

There's never any guarantees when a phone is dropped, but if all seems good - chances are it will be fine.
Just get a decent case if prone to dropping your devices, or AppleCare.

I don't know.
I had it drop from pocket height for the first time. I never dropped the phone before.

I updated the iOS a few days ago and I didn't try everything thoroughly. I find that I am experiencing some lag after dropping the phone, e.g. when I was typing text the keyboard screen frozen for 3-4 seconds, for at least two times. I don't know if it was due to update or drop. It's 12 mini

It should be fine. Give the phone a shake to make sure the battery isn’t loose. If the front and back glass hasn’t been damaged, I find it hard to believe anything inside the phone could be damaged.

If you have not already, try restarting the phone. I've had to do that after some drops.

I wouldn't worry too much. I dropped my 11 Pro Max in May (2022) and shattered the rear glass. The shock caused the front glass to crack from underneath the display. Everything was still fully functional.

If nothing is broken on the outside and you phone still works, one likely has lucked out.

The shock of impact might break a badly soldered connection or similar but that it is quite rare.

It is quite minor, but I can feel it, for example, taking a little bit longer to zoom in a picture, taking a little bit longer for a zoomed picture to become clear and focused. It’s valid. If the adhesive is loose you will feel your battery wobble within the phone. My mum’s SE1 had a loose battery along with a friend’s 6S. Both were repaired with replacement adhesive.
