Hi :)

I could not enable HiDPI resolution on my 4k display with my MBP Touchbar (15'') nor my Mac Mini, about two months ago using Sierra.

Because I was able to enable it (1920x1080 HiDPI mode on 4k display) previously, and because of this:
https://www.macrumors.com/2016/09/23/loss-of-resolution-scaling-macos-sierra-update/

I think it is (or at least was) not available on Sierra, Is it back with High Sierra? (I am ready to tweak things up)

Thanks :)

Anyone?
EDIT: I wish I had the time to figure it by myself, I hope someone here knows the answer.. HiDPI scaling is so very important IMHO.

@mbenji I have always used SwitchResX with external 4k montior or even for changing the mac resoution to like 2560x1600 for better work managment. The adavnatge is it let me choose color profiles with one click esp working with Pictures and swithcing to different for videos/gaming. External montiors or infact for TV's color profiles varies! Give it a shot.. (should solve your problem).
