...does Sound Check really not work that well? Whenever I have iTunes on shuffle, I notice how poorly Sound Check performs it's job, and every time I make a mix cd for somebody I always have to go through and make sure it all sounds pretty consistent. Is there any sort of plug-in or anything to help with this? Any help is greatly appreciated. - Q

soundcheck doesn't work, mine is always off, it's really bad, i hope apple wil create by time of new leopard a feature in itunes that can analyse all your songs and then do a soundcheck, a good one.

iVolume is pretty good. Way, way better than sound check.
