Hi I'm looking to buy TWO HomePods and set them up as my computer speakers and was wondering if they could both be connected either to my iPhone 11 Pro Max or my MacBook Pro and play music though both at the same time, the same song obviously.

Yep, you can pair 2 HomePods together to act in Stereo, then just AirPlay to them.

You pair them using the Home app.

Great for Music and Video, a slight delay for system sounds / games.

Ok so I can connect them to my MacBook Pro and play music from YouTube on them?

I was going place them on each side of the laptop, just like traditional computer speakers.

And also has anyone tried this? Does it work well?

Yep! You can! I use this for my AppleTV in a living room, and use it with my laptop fairly often too. No issues.

Ok thanks. I was going to buy them used from like eBay to save some money.

any experience with that? Like best place for deals?

ebay seems to have some good ones

Just snagged two HomePods for Black Friday.

This is of interest to me as well!

So for those of you that have paired 2... is the sound that much better? (I think the sound from one is pretty terrific!)

Two in Stereo adds a whole new dimension, it sounds unbelievable. I love it
