Is it possible to reclock the imac's 2600 pro to its actual XT glory

    Is it possible to reclock the imac's 2600 pro to its actual XT glory?
    -there is in fact an XT graphics card in there- right?:confused::confused:
    i am running a 2.8ghz 24" imac- thanks!

    Hey,

    you could try this under windows: http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/

    But if I were you I wouldn't overclock, it might damage your video card (especially in a thin iMac case). I'm also pretty sure it'll void your warranty, so be careful.

    i agree...

    but does do the changes stay when you switch back to osx?

    thanks... did anyone see any valuable improvements... any specs i should tryout?- don't want to mess up the thing.
