I can't speak on Verizon but this worked for me on AT&T. As long as the flip phone has internet access your plan will remain the same.

If the phone is open to run on the network your SIM is connected to, and if it physically fits (you can buy adaptors) then yes you can use it in any phone.

Depends on whether verizon flip phones even have sim slots. Many of their so called dumb phones are 3G CDMA phones and thus have no sim cards.
