Is it possible to use my 24" iMac as a display for my MacBook Pro?

    Hey, is it at all possible to use my white 24" iMac as an external display for my 13" MacBook Pro? The MBP is running Snow Leopard and the iMac is 3 yrs old and running Tiger. Thanks!

    According to their website, new ones can do that - the 21.5 and 27 inch ones.

    But as far as I know, the old ones (like your 24) seem to not have input for DisplayPort (or any input whatsoever) so... no.

    But I may be wrong here.

    iMac specs page:

    It's 27" only.
