If you are referring to a software unlock it's my understanding that those died a few years ago.
Call your carrier and ask for an unlock or find one of those third party unlocks. About $100 I'm told.
If you are on Sprint, you're out of luck as there is no unlock.
Baseband determines possibility of software unlock.
Since your baseband is likely 4.12.xx, your only chance of unlock is IMEI unlock, as other poster explained.
Contact your carrier and ask them to unlock it. Software unlocks stopped being developed a while ago since they were becoming a lot harder and most carriers will unlock it for you now anyway.
You might try one of those R-SIM which allows you to use any SIM.
software unlock nope 99% sure they wont release one. Go the IMEI route
There is no sim interposer compatible with baseband newer than 4.10.xx
It worked on my iPhone 5C with R-SIM 9 PRO. I am able to use any network. There's also one for iPhone 4.
R-SIM 9 PRO is for 4S and newer.
I personally have never seen any sim interposer to unlock iPhone 4 with 4.12.xx baseband.
Lol you're right, my bad I thought it was for iPhone 4 to 5S
It was worth a shot
