I'm not an intense user, but I use word/excel/ppt 7 days a week for school to view/edit things.

When office mac 08 came out, it wasn't terribly stable (I recall a lot of grumbling on the forums). Has it become stable yet for daily normal activities? I don't mean for developer-level stuff.

Also, my biggest gripe about '04 was the total lack of thumbnails on the left side view in powerpoint. Have they addressed this yet?

Thanks!

We've released a few updates to improve performance and reliability.

PowerPoint 2008 does show thumbnails on the left slide.

Nadyne.

I still have problems with Office 08 and Spaces where the Palette gets moved to a different space/messed up but other than that it has been pretty stable for me with the latest release.

Excel has problems with me.
Big spreadsheets don't scroll smoothly and jumps slowly as I scroll down.

Unusual when using a price list from a supplier.
