Did steve look ill at WWDC

I wondered about that myself. The framerate quicktime video of WWDC is too low for me to watch so I can't tell how he looked. Edit Finally got a look at the keynote and I thought Steve looked fine but just not as energetic as in previous keynotes

It's important for Apple to have spokespersons other than Steve. Important for the company not to be reliant on one person. I'm sure that multiple presenters will be common thing in future Keynotes. So it's not necessarily an indication that Steve's unwell.


Lets face it after forty we all start to go downhill. :(
We are all only here for a short time.

I'd say the guy, not phil, but the other one did a pretty good job at his presentation. He seems to have that youth ignorance to him (even though he might not be young) but he was pretty convincing. No Steve though...
 
It's no secret that eventually he'll have to turn over the reigns... problably bringing out the high-execs that they did is a way to get their faces out there to the developers and anyone else watching. When most of us think of Apple, we think of Steve and only Steve.
 
I think he's just a bit sick.

He probably has a fever or something.

He had one a couple years ago I think and was coughing a lot.
 
maybe it is an optical illusion created by his surroundings.
standing next to programmers and engineers, which as a group we are not best know for athletic magazine cover shots :p , he does look thin.
 
Personally, I thought he looked alright - remember how much he coughed at the MWSF keynote!?

...he still didn't have his 'demo' presentations down though (he was reading off of the paper a LOT, lol)
 
Truth is, he clearly never completely rebounded from his cancer experience. This can't be seen as a positive development -- either he's still receiving treatment in the form of nasty anti-cancer drugs (not good), or he's not allowing himself to be treated (even worse). I keep hoping, each time I see him in public, that he'll look like he's regaining his health. But each time he appears more gaunt and weary, not less.

Whens Johnathon ives going to be doing one, i want him to take over, Even though i wish steve could carry on forever, i'd only be fooling myself. Phill schiller no offence but i skipped the bit's you were in zzzzzzzzzz. However that other guy was ok, but NO ONE can replace steve:rolleyes: It made me sad when he didn't really have the attention at the keynote then when i was watching it i started to loose attention

I am not as familiar with Steve as a lot of people here, but I definitely thought he looked a bit thin and run-down during the keynote.

I also think, aside from his appearance, letting so many other people take center stage is a way to get other faces recognized.

I hope he's doing well though..Steve Jobs is the only CEO I've been excited to see and listen to.

And, for the first time since I've seen, shared the spot light with no less than 3 other people.

1) Steve looks unnaturally thin. It is being discussed all over the net, on several different sites.

2) Unlike the typical routine, the format for WWDC was much different, with Steve taking an unusual amount of breaks, splitting up his time with 3 other new faces.

3) These "new faces," unlike other guest speakers, were internal Apple employees.


Considering the above, I think it is very safe to say that the switch to Intel isn't the only transition we'll be seeing.
 
Steve needs some meat in his diet. That vegan lifestyle sure is unhealthy, or at least he's not a poster-boy for such a lifestyle.

Comon Steve, here's hoping you'll live to 100. :cool:
 
And where does Wiki get its information? Anyway, he does need to eat some steaks, juicy and bloody, with a side order of fat and butter. :p
