Like many people, I've dealt with the cloudy white screen "bruises" over the course of my iBook/Powerbook/Macbook Pro ownership history (my last purchase was the late 2007 model Macbook Pro, which has developed a number of bruises despite being taken care of very carefully), and I was wondering if the new display assembly might help cut down on the amount of bruising that develops over the lifespan of the machine.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can't say I've ever seen bruises on any of the unibody MacBooks i've seen.
