My friend is interested in buying a new Mac Mini. He was wondering if the the $799 version with the discrete graphics card was powerful enough to run Final Cut Pro/Studio effectively?

    Edited: Reworded question

    Irrelevant.

The most important question here is, "Can it play Crysis?"

Sorry, I worded the question poorly, I meant to say if the gc was powerful enough to effectively run Final Cut Pro.

I believe I will just say yes to make you feel better. How about yes. It greatly exceeds the minimum requirements.
