Is the paint effect and over processing that the camera firmware or app did now gone or improved with the new ios 11 camera app?

I'd like to know this too. However, shooting RAW with A9 devices and later fixes it.

What is your fav app to shoot raw? Paid is fine.

    Thanks

I love Halide, but Lightroom is a close second.

Interested in this too. Hoping the new compression/file format tones down the existing compression algorithm.

I've tried several and settled on ProShot.

What's said is often RAW shots don't look as vibrant simply because Apple does a lot of processing to show you that JPG. You can, of course, touch them up later to look even better. I which I could just shoot RAW in the Apple camera app as that has the best Ui to me.
