Is the white iPhone 3GS 32Gb a good swap for a Milestone (Droid)?

Hi there. Someone has offered me a white iPhone 3GS 32Gb with one TINY hairline crack coming from the dock connector, but otherwise in perfect working order.

Question: Is this a good (and fair) swap for a Moto "Milestone" (Droid)?

I know Apple will look after me, and doubtless I can just get it exchanged for the white cracking issue.

    Thanks.

Suppose it's all about which phone you prefer... The Droid is a pretty sweet phone, I wouldn't kick it out for leaving crumbs in the bed.

the droid has double the power and screen res of the iphone, a fair trade, yes. However a smart trade, no.

After having used Android for two months, I beg to differ. The Milestone is AWFUL, Motorola are terrible at supporting it, and I love the iPhone 3GS, so that is what sells it to me.

I was going to go into Android app dev, but I am abandoning it as dead in the water - it is far from mature. iPhone is a much better phone - it's not all about hardware specs (this reminds me of Mac vs PC arguments) it is about ease of use, simplicty and aesthetics. iPhone has yet to be beaten.

I've decided that I want the 3GS, but whether or not it is a good swap, was the point of this post. Thanks.

If you take the 3Gs with the crack in to the Apple Store they will replace it free as it is a known issue.
