Does anyone know what the 'F4' in excel (absolute cell reference possibilities) equivalent in numbers is? I really want to use this program, but not having fun doing complex spreadsheets.

thanks,

r.

To my understanding, to provide an absolute cell reference you have to use the $ sign. So if a formula or calculation will always involve cell B4, you have to enter in B$4$ or some derivative of that.

Thanks - it worked! do you know if there is a short cut key as well?

thanks again,

rob
