Is there a rumour about the screen on iPad 2 is going to be smaller?

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

I thought I read that somewhere but don't really remember. If so, in my opinion that'd be a huge letdown even if it is retina and faster. I mean that's what the iPod touch/iPhone are basically.

It might even put me off altogether and I'd just pick up a 1st gen refurb instead.

There was briefly, but Jobs shot that down by basically saying tablets under 10" suck

Anything less than a 10" screen is too small. I'm glad to hear that Steve decided against this.

Same. Once I saw and held the Galaxy Tab, it just felt too small to use like a tablet. It really feels just like a giant ass phone.

You make it sound like they'd discontinue the 10" models. Unlike the iPhone, the iPad should be much more versatile.

I have the Galaxy S phone, and I'm here to tell you, it IS a giant ass version of a phone.

There is also a rumor that it will be bigger. Average the rumors and you will know the size won't change.

It is just a smaller crappier Tab.
