Is there a way to limit which mail accounts are on the iPhone?

I have 4 email accounts, 2 are .Mac and 2 are Comcast. I would like to exclude the 2 Comcast accounts from the iPhone (as I don't use them very often) but I can't see a way to do it. Is it possible to limit which accounts are accessed by the iPhone?

Also, I have a couple of .Mac email aliases (they are under the main .Mac account). Is there a way to send from iPhone Mail using an alias?

    Thanks in advance,

    Settings | Mail

Enter each 'account' - at the top is

    Account ON / OFF

Just uncheck the e-mail accounts in iTunes. As for the aliases, maybe adding them to Mail(or Outlook) will get them to work.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I need to dig around in the settings a little more...

If you don't want the accounts on your iPhone at all, then in iTunes you can choose which ones sync into your iPhone through the "Info" tab.

    They didn't used too, but...

I just saw this today on Shawn Blanc's website:

    See it here

This might apply to aliases as well but I can't verify as my iPhone is dead and currently recharging...

Thank you for the post! I tried it with just the aliases set up on OS X Mail but the aliases don't go to the iPhone.

I wonder if you could set up the aliases as accounts...
I'll try that and get back to you.

Okay so attempting to add an alias as an account doesn't work. I'm out of options...
