My favorite games include Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Final Fantasy 3 (US), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and Lost Vikings.

Also, do they have snes controller that can be plugged in via usb to play these games?

    Thanks.

    Yes and yes.

Google snes9x it's a free Mac snes emulator which runs great and I believe supports controllers.

Roms are very easy to find.

    Go to www.vimm.net

LOVE this site, been using it since like 1999.

Click on the Emulation Lair and Download SNES9X

Then click on the Vault and you will have access to free downloads of every single SNES game and it takes a few minutes to download one.

Open the ROM in SNES9X and you are set

Fast, easy, and free : )

Thanks! Those links will help. Also, just so I know, is there any harm that can come to my macbook pro in terms of viruses or major cpu slowdown if I download emulators and roms?

Is there any risks that I should know about?

There aren't any viruses for OS X and no, it shouldn't slow down your Macbook.
