Is there a way to visually/virtually “pool” or combine hard drive disks, so you can essentially have a single file list that can alphabetize all files contained within?

I would like to have a way to see all files and folders across hard drives show up as a single file list, but not change the usability of the file structure.

Is there anything out there that will do this?

Not looking to go RAID, ZFS was my flavor but most of us unfortunately know the story there....

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

    Thanks

Nothing anyone can think of or have some idea of a way to do this?

What I would like is just a way to manage large numbers of unique folders spanned across many drives.

Unfortunately these folders cannot be in a alphabetical listing ex. 1st drive a-b , 2nd drive c-d ect....

So it would be a great usability feature if they could all be viewed alphabetically in a single file browser despite existing on multiple drives.

Anything that would make managing a folder structure like this would be amazing.

Thanks for any ideas or resolution.
