Just wanna know. . . Are there any female posters on MacRumors?
I know of three for certain: myself, Cleo and Dutchess__street. Anyone else?
Another woman gamer? Can it be true?
Macette and b2tm's wife
kishba (I think)
kela (I think)
iGav, Kishba and Teabgs Mother are not women - and if they were listed here as taunts, sorry for spoiling the fun.
Don't forget Ms. V
yes, I'm certainly a geekgal
there's a thread covering this somewhere months back...
hmm...I'm too lazy to look for it...
it's funny how all of the names listed here someone else has said and not the actual person...
I'm a girl, but don't try hitting on me, 'cause I can assure you you're not gettin' any
damnit!! damnit!! damnit!!
well, except for cleo - who's probably the #1 female poster and kibit
the other are around but you don't hear from them as much.
>(dukestreet) iGav, Kishba and Teabgs Mother are not women - and if they were listed here as taunts, sorry for spoiling the fun.
My mistake w/kishba. :guilty: :strains arteries connecting side of face to area around shoulders:
As for the Mrother one...
>Don't forget Ms. V
Heh. I think color speaks best here...
Who could forget?
>(eye) there's a thread covering this somewhere months back...
There was one a long while ago, either at the beginning of the year, or near the end of last year. I think there was a poll with it.
oh boy queen cobra is asking for trouble.... i am most certainly a male
as for others... i've always been disappointed by the female poplulation on MR... i've always wanted female geek companionship.... ::sigh:: i'm still looking
There are times when I wish I was but then I look down and say
We can get you in drag for WEW
Every geek wants a geek girlfriend
haha Kishba , I would be kicking and screaming now
who said i wasn't kicking and screaming?
i really want to know why queen thought i was a girl though.... any thoughts? anyone?
Name ends in A? *shrugs*
I get mistaken for a guy a lot. Internet is funny about genders.
yup yup... i've made a few mistakes myself... i really just want to know how my internet "persona" is feminine.... it has me really baffled... it'll make me much more paranoid about my posts
that or i'll come up with some sort of manly avatar...
That's supermodel and/or actress, but when we open the wallet and dust bunnies fall out they tend to laugh at us.
It's the 'a'. A female name in lot of cultures, (including ours, US) is much more likely to end in an 'a' than a male one.
When I first went to the Tech Pub, I didn't realize that Akira was actually Alphatech , it just sounded more feminine.
That's why I chose mine very carefully. edvniow doesn't sound quite masculine or feminine, it's more androdynous, which I have much experience in.
Depends on which actress I suppose, but any geek who would prefer a supermodel over a cool geek girl with a brain in her skull doesn't deserve to be called a geek. Priorities, man.
