Completely untrue.

You’re mixing up accessibility for perhaps motor control issues versus visual issues.

There can be people that have a hard time hitting small touch or pointer targets, but have vision that’s just fine

I’m honestly blown away at all the people trying to defend not having better accessibility options.

This is completely nuts you guys. I have no idea why you’re defending not having more options.

It benefits, nobody to have things more locked down versus less
Well, I don’t read most things here as “defense” 🙃

But it is indeed a strange thing that Apple allows to increase the width of the title/menu bar without the bar widgets/dressing being scaled. Particularly when these are vectors now.

For older MacOS x/macOS versions there are tools to amplify the area under the mouse pointer.

Apple offers currently the simplest solution: scale everything. Time to contact Tim and file bug reports. Seriously. Do.It.Now.

in which case they can either scale up the ui or use the keyboard, which requires much less fine motor control

I'm not defending fewer options; I'm defending how one frames the issues. More options is great; using disabled people as a justification for your preferences isn't.

I get your point about people with motor control issues, but my same point applies: people who have a hard time keeping their hand steady when clicking aren't *only* going to have difficulty clicking window buttons. They'll also have issue clicking *any* button, since most buttons aren't all that big in default settings. They'll thus benefit from all clickable elements being enlarged, not just one.
Using disabled people? That's quite a stretch. Maybe a better word would be useability rather than accessibility. But "using disabled people" ??? What do you have against making the DAMN active area around these insanely small lights bigger? I know, let's make the lights smaller! Yes! One pixel!

Thank you. I was not aware of this.

as someone that continues to run macOS on current gen intel/amd hardware I’m not weary of disabling SIP

But it seems macforge is basically abandoned

I’d make sure to know what you are getting in to before ***** with that

You might spend hours trying to get something to work that no longer works

And quite frankly I don’t believe that the option that the person recommended ever actually existed even when it did work many years ago

They just wanted to make a point it seems

Rather than actually offering any help

Copy that. I took a look at it and could not figure out how it would actually work. So I am gonna stay away for now.

Unfortunately, there's nothing to be aware of as MacForge is currently dead (as I already mentioned). MacForge was indeed a great utility. I even wrote a plug-in that tweaked a UI option I didn't like.
Yeah, I decided to stay away. Last thing I need is MORE problems :)
