Hey there,

Apologies if I'm in the wrong forum, so mods feel free to move this to the Apple Watch Apps forum if it's more appropriate. Anyways, I like to read and use my laptop while in a rocking chair, so if I'm wearing my Watch the rocking motion will be counted as activity and exercise... which is no good, because I also want to track my actual activity and exercise.

Is there any way to pause Activity tracking? My watch thinks I've walked 15,000+ steps today even though I've been working on my Macbook all day, rocking back and forth and back and forth...

I could always take it off but that would be less than ideal, so other suggestions and solutions are appreciated!

It's an S3 non-LTE version, in case it matters.

Cheers, thank you!
That has nothing to do with your watch. That is only related to your phone fitness tracking.

You can turn it off in watch settings, but then your watch becomes worthless for any sort of activity.
