Is this the end of Hillary? Is Trump playing the Trump Card? Did he out play Hillary?

One of the basics of "the art of the deal" is to create a condition where you end up with a great negotiation. Clearly Mexico is concerned with the outcome of the election and want to cover their bases. Their economy is at stake here and both sides know this.

If Trump pulls out a deal, this could be the end of Hillary.

Between this, Hillary's health, WikiLeaks and the new Clinton Foundation hack, ... does Hillary still have a chance?

Not only does she have a chance, she's pulling double digit leads in battleground states. The question is does Trump still have a chance to turn this around?

Trump is toast. There is no "trump" card.

The only remaining entertainment is whether even one PRSI thread will be started that sincerely champions even one policy position of Hillary Clinton.

The next four years - regardless of social or economic or domestic or international direction - will be led by a chorus of Not Trump.

    Enjoy the view.

Hillary's Coronation is bought and paid for.

Too many corrupt liberal establishment politicians are counting on her. Foreign governments own her, Bubba wants back into the White House. NY Times, CNN and others have bet the farm on her. Planned Parenthood stands ready. Huma is salivating... Katy Perry has a new dress.

    It's as good as done.

Between Trump, Trump's tweets, Trump's fetish for Vladimir, Trump's refusal to support the Republican Party platform in any stable and meaningful way, the long and growing list of Republicans who disavow Trump, and Trump's revolving door campaign strategies, I'd say Hillary Clinton's chances are very good to excellent and Trump's chance next to nil.

Still they're only probabilities, so anything could happen.

However, you may need to step away from the day to day view of the amazing Mr. Trump and come back with broader perspective on this contest. He's interesting, yes. But he's incompetent, and borderline off the wall. The time grows short to fix the former, and he's probably stuck with the latter. We can't afford either of these attributes in the person who will take our highest elective office next January.

    A. He's toast. I've said for months - and yes, you can find my posts - that he didn't want to win. But where I came up waaaaay short is that I thought he wants to be a king maker. But he's sailed waaaay past that.

Hoping Clinton wins and democrats take control of congress.

Look forward to the era of Lack Of Excuses.

EDIT: LOL - I guess Steve knight doesn't understand four years with democrats lacking excuses.

Anywhos, will relish Democrats blaming anyone at all but themselves over the next four years.

DEMS IN CRISIS=> LA Times Poll Shows Trump Is Surging with African Americans
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...s-poll-shows-trump-surging-african-americans/

Huge LA Times Poll: Trump Takes 7-Point Lead

The USC Dornsife/LA Times Presidential Election Daybreak Poll shows:

    • Donald Trump: 47 percent
    • Hillary Clinton 40 percent
The poll surveyed 3,000 Americans by the Los Angeles Times and the USC Dornsife Center.

This is right up Trump's alley, wait it out, time the event, make the change, hit the target. He's an old pro at this.

He's SURGING with African Americans and now meeting with Mexico's President, in a CHANGE election.

    Wait... Let's ask Obama...

    Ok, now let's ask Bernie:

LMAO!!!!!! That's adorable. Breitbart themselves couldn't even dream up a poll with such favorable numbers. I wonder why Nate Silver won't include this one.... :D:D:D:D

Whatever helps you sleep at night. But at least it's healthy that you've taken after Trump and have already begun coming to terms with his inevitable loss. There are some on here that are still in their denial phase.

Just in case you don't get the people on the Right... We don't like the GOP. We're pissed, really pissed and we have a backbone (that's the thing someone needs to stand up).

    1. Trump's tweets AKA free marketing that the media eats up like hungry dogs and give him all the free air time he wants.
    2. "fetish for Vladimir" AKA get along with other world leaders better than Obama and stop invading other nations.
    3. Trump's refusal to support the GOP... That's what people LOVE about him, he's a TRUE outsider
    4. Trump's revolving door... Willingness to change and keen instincts for reading the market and adjusting to it.

Help me out here... which of those were a bad thing?

You are kidding yourself! The reality (which you don't seem to be able to comprehend) is that not only will Hillary win in a landslide, but Trump is working on causing a loss of the House and Senate as well.

Pretty much all of those approaches (of which your descriptions are not all factual, by the way) are not a great idea if Trump wishes to win the election.

If he's just playing, and so just playing his supporters also, then they're perfectly fine ideas since he's basically blowing smoke and the ideas have no weight.

Getting some good press with Mexico might get him back in the race. Right now he seems to be deteriorating.

I think Trumps only chance of winning is if some HRC scandal surfaces that's absolutely damning. That's entirely possible, but unless it happens I don't see the country electing Trump.

There's no deal. The Mexican president said he'd meet with whoever was elected. Nowhere in the article does it say there will be a meeting (let alone a deal) before the election.

All the things mentioned could also be said about Hillary:
How many resets has she had? She started with a "Scooby Van" and reset several times.
She couldn't get past Bernie without DNC help
She's taken both sides of almost every important policy
She had to get Bill in to meet with the AG to get past the FBI
The FBI called her a liar
Bill is calling the FBI a liar
    She's pissed off Bernie supporters
She's taking more Wall Street cash than anyone in the election.
She's outspending Trump by a HUUUUUUGE margin and the only gains have been because of Trumps filter.
She's lied about lying and excused it.
She's been hiding from the Press and needs help getting around.
People don't like her and don't trust her.
Her economic plan is no different that Obama's and that's falling apart.
She wants to expand ObamaCare and it's falling apart quickly.

    (Just to mention a few).

All the things mentioned... are merely an expansion of what you said at first, to which I replied that Trump has a list even more damaging to his prospects, since they are things taken seriously by the mainstream voters Trump's having trouble attracting.

Trump's chances are not as good as Clinton's to win this election.

It doesn't mean he cannot win. It means he's so highly unlikely to win that the Republicans are pretty much giving up on him and trying to salvage at least the House if not also the Senate. Which reduces his chances even further.

Saying something like this months before an election would be odd. Given that he would meet with ANY US president is a no-brainer. It's not like he would announce that he wouldn't meet with a US president. Saying it before an election has taken place is very out of place unless he knows that if Trump wins, he'll have to do the same as Ryan and others by learning to get along.

Mexico needs to get along with the US more than the US needs to get along with Mexico, he knows this and is covering his bases.
    --- Post Merged, Aug 17, 2016 ---
This seems to have been the plan all along. He makes people think the bar is too high, the deal can't be done, then all the sudden the deal gets done.

All the predictions about Trump have been dead wrong, yet all the sudden all the people that have been 100% wrong, 100% of the time, think they are now 100% correct.

From what I understand, the people of Mexico want nothing but to have the cartels sodomize Trump with a burrito.
