Queue his next speech: he knows more about the economy than all the economists.

Left is against corps soaking in state tax incentives and shirking federal taxes until they aren't.

Left is against China dumping and ruining union jobs until they aren't.

According to his doctor who said his health was amazing, he also knows all the organs! So there's that too.

What about the new, recently discovered organ? How did that wily organ escape Trump’s notice?

He knew about it before anyone else and had to teach his doctor what it was.

LOL... What “union jobs” do the hysterical right wing mongers stand up for besides the police and FD unions?
    --- Post Merged, Apr 2, 2018 ---
Did he patent it? I assume it sits somewhere near the colon, anus, and butt cheeks. Trump spends a lot of time down there. That’s how he found it.

If you and your ilk don’t care about unions why do you care?

Show us how the left is against union jobs.

I find it funny that the President was very proud of paying little to no taxes because he was smart and takes the same pride when it comes to his businesses. But somehow Amazon is evil. Despite the facts which show that Amazing has a contract with the USPS which is profitable because the USPS, by law, cannot negotiate a deal which will make them lose money.

In other words - Trump is a hypocrite talking out of his keister.

It's always about left or right. Very narrow minded.

Trump is just jealous. Actual billionaires upset him. You gotta cut him some slack on that. Green eyed monster takes over when it involves a self made success.

Heard a good story today where the comment was:

"Part of what's happened in American culture is that we have become unserious — we're incapable of having a serious discussion about our common crises and how to solve them. And we also see increasing civic dysfunction".

The author goes on to say:

"We should be deeply upset that we are not taking seriously the species-wide threat — the threat to the planet — that's posed by climate change. We should be furious that a country as abundant and wealthy as ours can't care for our most vulnerable citizens."

It's all about left vs right bickering. No substance just bickering. The issues pretty much go on unchanged because we are worrying about what the "other side" is doing. We spend way too much time arguing about who is right when in essence most of us are wrong. What we are told and what really happens are two different things. The benefits we are told we are going to receive by our esteemed leaders most often is a lie. There are so many more important things to focus on rather than accusing Trump of one thing and pointing out that Hillary or Bill did it too just prove a point.

According to finance.yahoo.com todays pullback was lead by technology stocks.
According to finance.yahoo.com the economy is free falling because of the new tariffs by China.
According to finance.yahoo.com the new tariffs by China do not impact technology.

    Ok, finance.yahoo.com, pick one.

Trump wouldn't be doing this if Bezos weren't the owner of the Washington Post.

Again, with him, it is, as he said, picking a side and defending it to the death, even when he knows that their side is wrong.

No way out for him on this, as his admitting to that wrong either shows hypocrisy, or shows that his statement was wrong to begin with.

Anywho, back to backfires. You know its bad when Trump's lot is rocked by scandal after scandal, especially with Pruitt facing calls to resign from his scandals, teachers going on strike because of states screwing with their pay and pensions, and DeVos completely destroying their educational system.

Again, even at this point, it's clear to see that even President Harrison has done a better job in office than Trump, and all Harrison did in office was die.

No, it's not the job of yahoo to pick one. If they did, they'd be a propaganda outlet instead of a legitimate news organization. They are doing their job properly by presenting the reader with a variety of views, and it's the reader's job to read and analyze all the pieces and form their own conclusions.

Its not 'views', it is a complete misrepresentation of facts.
Technology was the cause of the pullback not the proposed Chinese tariffs.

More than that but as said, tech sector pull back was the direct cause while the reason for the tech pull back was significantly related to the looming trade war that Trump initiated and the recent Chinese tariff announcement. So Yahoo wasn’t wrong on any of the accounts. It’s a complicated relationship, hence why there will be no winners out of a trade war. The US won’t ‘win’ as indicated by past trade wars and as warned by nearly all economists.

Well, you are partially correct, but mostly wrong. Trump is personally responsible for both the Tariffs and criticizing Amazon, cause stocks to nosedive in both the DOW and S&P.

Tesla and Facebook have their issues, but taken on a normal trading day where Trump keeps his yap shut, wouldn't push the DOW down nearly 750 points, before correcting to 459!

    link: http://thehill.com/policy/finance/381265-stocks-slide-as-china-announces-tariffs-on-us-imports

"U.S. stocks slid Monday after China announced new tariffs on agricultural imports from the United States in response to President Trump’s levies on foreign steel and aluminum.
The Dow Jones industrial average shed 459 points, or 1.9 percent, after being down by as much as 750 earlier in the day.
China announced a 15-percent tax on more than 120 U.S. imports, including pork, fruit and nuts, as a response to Trump’s tariffs of 25 percent and 10 percent on Chinese steel and aluminum, respectively.
China is expected to levy further tariffs on U.S goods in response to Trump’s plan to impose up to $60 billion in levies on Chinese imports.

Troubled technology giants have also suffered steep stock losses, weighing down markets on the whole. Shares in Amazon fell 5.2 percent Monday as Trump continued his criticism of the online retailer and its owner, Jeff Bezos.
Tesla stock fell more than 5 percent over concerns about the company’s financial viability, while Facebook’s ongoing data use controversy dragged its stock down 2 percent."

How could Trump not be the backfire president? He ran on a platform of ideas designed to hurt people. People voted for him anyway. Now those people are getting what they deserve. Bang!
