Too much time on his hands?

I won't post the tweets - you have to see them for yourself...

I suspect those Acme Corporation "How to be Presidential"™ tablets have run out…

Adam Scott is a fully bought-in conservative who will follow trump to the bitter end ... so I shouldn't even bother trying to parse his message.

But I do have to wonder ... how have trump's tweets "worked" as Scott claimed? What have they accomplished besides illustrating that we have a terribly sick and disturbed individual running this country?

If Scott thinks that's working, then I have to question his sanity as well.

I won't pretend to understand Donald Trump, but they did succeed in getting him elected, so I am guessing there are people to whom his tweets appeal to. In the very least, I don't believe Trump is the ignoramus the media is painting him as.

I still can't quite get my head around the fact the US has a President that openly whines on social media. It's so unprofessional it's unreal.

He displays that he is an ignoramus every day in office.

You don't have to be that intelligent to be a showman and to understand that sensationalism sells to the masses.

So does that make him smart for knowing how to play the press? They could easily not report on all the funny things he does and starve him of the attention he evidently craves, yet they do. The press knows that even if they don't, someone else will and profit from it, so everyone is still falling over themselves to report on every single thing he does.

Yes, but can you get too outrageous, too over the top, too ridiculous, and too over saturated? To the point where people start tuning out and ignoring?

Not when he overuses the tactic. Even my dog knows now that each outburst of Trump's is an attempt to distract attention from his own wrongdoing. It's like a poker player's "tell".

So I guess the Jeff Sessions + Russia conspiracy must be true. Trumps behavior just confirmed it.

He's the President of the United States. The press normally pays a lot of attention to the person occupying that position.

I don't see how he's "playing" the press to any advantage. How do you think trump is benefitting from the coverage he's receiving?

I don't know. I'll let you know when that happens to me.

It sure is a great time to follow Trump on Twitter. And to not live in the US.

And the number one sign that Trump may be losing his @#$% on twitter in the morning is:

    "If it's morning."

If it's conservative it should be a relic, not a movement, right?

I think people are being a bit dense here, Obama didn't order the wiretap directly, but he politicized the "independent" agencies that were supposed to be investigating. So the question still remains, was Trump tower tapped? If so why?

Wh needs to provide more details than 140 char.
