I can't believe people actually research this stuff as factual history.

    BBC link…

What next? Easter Bunny's burrow found?

lol but Jesus Christ existed, he was a real person... There's more proof that Jesus existed than there is that muhammed existed.

Maybe that has something to do with it? I dunno, just throwing that out there, I could be wrong of course, in my humble opinion, etc etc.

Did he take into account fact that the King of England wiped 11 days off the calender in September 1752? Sept 3-13, 1752 doesn't exist.

Unix users can see the calender for 1752 by using the cal command. At the shell prompt type "cal 9 1752"

So the Last Supper actually happened on a Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath.:)

The existence of Jesus isn't what is in question, its if he was the son of god or not. So when the last supper might have been is plausible.

regardless if he's the son of god or not it still makes it factual history.

the OP expressed incredulity that people "research this stuff as factual history"

he then went on to compare jesus to the easter bunny, as if there were any comparison. one exists for sure, the other is most probably fictional.

Hmm, this Humphries has studied the bible? If you look up Anno Domini on Wikipedia, they say the gospels place Jesus' birth at before 4BC (because of Herod, or something). Thus, if he was 33 years old when he got nailed, it would not have been 33AD, more likely 28AD. So, this guy needs to review his work.

It's not "for sure" that Jesus of the Bible existed. He probably did, but he could have been a combination of people. A lot was based on word of mouth. The OP's incredulity may be directed at using the Bible as factual history.

Yes, 'story time', and well before the printed word via a press was invented.

Monks, etc, wrote, and probably re-wrote, the passages in the bible many times, with appropriate updates as to the current era.

It's because Wednesday was two-for-one night at the local Country Kitchen Buffet.

The thirty pieces of silver wasn't a bribe, it was the whip-round for the meal. Talk about misunderstood! Poor guy! :(

(Don't even try skunk, just another wandering mind moment.)

    No tip? Bloody cheapskates.

I expect they had to have it on the Wednesday as everywhere was booked up on the Thursday – you try booking a table for thirteen at short notice, it can be tricky.
