iTunes 4 making my computer sluggish

Has anyone esle found that iTunes 4 slows your system down considerably. I'm running a dual 533 and have never had a noticable slow down with any previous version of iTunes. But I'm trying to move finder windows around while running iTunes and I'm getting the beachball for a few seconds before it will do what I want it to.

Anyone know if there is a signidicant increase in the use of resources for iT4?

most people, like myself, have reported iTunes 4 using less resources than previous versions.

try running the command 'top' in the terminal...it will tell you what's using however much resources...

iTunes 3 used about 15% or more of my processor...

iTunes 4 has been using less than 10%

Yeah, iTunes 4 slowed down my ibook too.

For me is quite the opposite. iTunes 4 is hoovering between 4.4 to 11 %, while iTunes 3 usually took up 13 to 20 % CPU time.
