iPod iTunes crashes when trying to sync iPod touch

Hi!
I got iTunes 9, an iPod touch 2G and I'm trying to run the sync and also the update to OS 3.1... but it doesn't matter what I try, iTunes crashes after some while.

I also have last.fm and it tells me, that it could be because of that. (AudioScrobbler plug-in)

I don't know what to do. It crashes after Backuping the iPod.

//edit: I just removed the plug-in from the iTunes folder in ~/Library
I hope last.fm updates that plugin

I didn't think I was going to find an answer.

I don't have a complete understanding of the plug-in architecture, but I do know that closing Last.fm's plug-in before syncing still crashed iTunes for me. Deleting the plug-in is what worked. Thanks.
