Hey guys, I think adding tags to songs/albums would be a useful feature in iTunes. You might want to tag a song as 'Valentines Day 2008', or 'Party', or 'Reflective', or 'Moody' etc etc

Then you can easily do a search for a particular tag or tags to bring up what you're looking for. This is essentially a 'web 2.0' idea that I think would transgress to iTunes nicely. Although you can do this if you add these tags to the notes section in the id3 tags, this is a far more elegant solution.

As far as execution goes, if you check out Cultured Codes 'Things' App, a task management/to-do system, I think this is a good way it could be implemented in iTunes.

What do you guys think? yay or nay?

You can use the Grouping or Comments tag for that, although there isn't an interface dedicated to that, unless you count Moody.
