The previous release to todays update of iTunes is a nightmare.
Since that version it is unusable, as soon as you scroll up and down the store the whole iMac freezes. No force quit - no nothing. Slight exaggeration as the mouse still moves... for a while, even though it cant click on anything!

For a flagship piece of software this is shocking!
BTW its nothing todo with permissions or anything as have gone through the motions of repairing etc... There is also a thread growing over on apple support (unanswered as of yet) with people with the same problem.
