iTunes-LAME Encoder 2.0.7 problems..

Hello....

I have recently acquired this programme so that I could convert some aac files from my iTunes music library and import them into Traktor dj as mp3 files. I tried following the pretty simple looking instructions, selected a tune and clicked on import....nothing happens!
Is there anything else I need to do/ set-up?

Not sure whether I'm missing something here, but if you need to convert your AAC files to mp3, can you not just use the conversion option within iTunes?

Go into Preferences > Importing, change the option to MP3 encoder at your preferred bitrate, highlight the relevant tracks, and go to Advanced > Convert Selection to MP3. I imagine that importing into another app would be pretty straightforward if the files were already in the required format.
