How feasible is it today to buy music on the iTunes Store and sync it to devices with iTunes Match, without using Apple Music?

(The reason: I have used Apple Music since its release, but I’m very sick of streaming albums changing semi-frequently, breaking my playlists and requiring me to manually re-add things all the time).

If I drop Apple Music and go back to buying albums on the iTunes Store, will I be able to stream those on the Music app on my Apple Watch and HomePod like I can with Apple Music now?

Thanks!

If you buy directly from the itunes store you wont even need iTunes Match.
Purchases will show the same way and youll be able to either stream them or download them.
