iTunes says I have way more pictures than I actually do

iTunes is telling me that I have 581 pictures on my iPhone taking up 1.21 GB, when in fact my camera reel is only 210 pictures/video, taking up way less space than that. I haven't imported any pictures, I turned off photo syncing in the tabs. Any ideas?

Did you install a new app dealing with photographs or camera? Could be a bad app. I had a app roll swap that mess up my camera. I had to delete that app and restore my iphone to get the camera to work.

Restore your iPhone. Then see if that keeps on happening. Like the previous poster said, Applications with photos in them may count as photographs, I'm not sure.
