"James O'Keefe is the Breitbart-affiliated fraudster and fake news pioneer"
That says it all. Now we know who invented the term fake news and can imagine why it's part of Trump's vocabulary.
The site is practically ancient in Internet time, and includes work by Science Fiction author Cory Doctorow and reporting by Xeni Jardin. The name is meant to be a little ridiculous, but unlike O'Keefe, it actually has some credibility.
It's worth noting how close O'Keefe and Breitbart work in tandem to create garbage news and then cycle it as much as possible for clicks. The instant O'Keefe publishes something, Breitbart's got a story to push. The story is written up by a "Senior Editor-at-large" (i.e. a completely meaningless title) who happens to have a book to schlep, published by Regnery.
Get Reps. King or Issa and you've got the whole bong-water ecosphere in a nutshell.
