Religious action figures... now open Sundays...
Since the figurines come armed with handguns, I would imagine this comes from someone's sick mind trying to "wind some people up."
Plus they don't have shipping info to the states.
By the way, what does TBC stand for?
to be confermed =tbc
Does God look like Storm Shadow, or is it just me?
"Putting the fun back into fundamentalism and the laughter back in sectarian slaughter."
Bloody magnificent. I love it!
I want a Krishna doll!
hahaha.. too funny.
Your thread gave me a freudian slip moment. For some reason I thought it was about "Jesus Christ Superstar" movie until I went to the link!
haha it would be cool to have a whole set of these on one of myshelves and try to freak out people who coem in my room .
I like the allah one and the islamic jihad one. Funny, real funny
I'm suprised that nobody has declared this offending or anything of that sort.
Its kind of funny :·/
It is Christmas time scem0. So it is best to be tolerant of others. I cannot put my beliefs on others. We are each responsible for our own actions.
This strikes me mightily as one of those "gee, people are really going to hate this!" kind of things. All press is good press.
Neither clever nor original. How some people are suckers for those who make fun of the ones they don't like.
I'm not offended. Just not particularly impressed, and I have seen both of those "fun in fundamentalism" etc, lines before.
I agree, I'm just suprised that everyone is being so tolerant.
I think it's that it gives a twisted view of every religion and puts a gun in its hand.
Which is funny because it's too often how religion ends up working. It's a little dark, yes, but I love dark humour.
I figure it's been taken as posted.... in jest... you have to be able to laugh at these things.... varity is the spice and all that jazz... well I would say that, but I'm an Atheist... hold on... where's the Atheist doll??
whats better than the comfort of jesus in my life...jesus in my life with a pump action shotgun.
I was wondering if they would have a scientology doll? but who would they use Tom Cruise or John Travolta?
You are correct iJon, there is nothing better than to have Jesus in our life. He has brought me through many trials. A disaster can be truned into a blessing.
Only with the proper automatic weapon selection, though.
It's completely un-clever and unoriginal.
Humor comes from the unexpected. Therefore...overdone to the Nth degree is not humorous. Not even dark humorous. Unless you think Hot Topic is either dark or humorous.
The random goth-quote generator was humorous for all the reasons that this page is not.
Really, guys, I mean if someone makes a website going "ooh ooh ooh, macs r great and PCs suck, macs r great and PCs suck, macs r great and PCs suck" are you going to come back and say "Yeah, it's pretty funny because of how PCs are inferior to our platform of choice, the Macintosh, and he's all, like, saying it and stuff. I love Mac humor."
All I'm saying is, for how long humore like this has been around, are we all still suckers for the same regurgitated crap, just because it's (favorite buzzword of the last 30 years) irreverant? I know I'm not. Let me know when you find something that hasn't been done a thousand times.
An interesting concept with tremendous potential for humor, of which I couldn't see for the drivel and grim gallimaufry of cliches.
yes i know that, i was just going along with the humor of the site for fun, nothign to be taken seriously.
I think this is hilarious...
BUT I also think it's a fake. the figures remind me of remodeled Star-Wars figures, and the packaging is photoshopped IMHO... maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I thought first.
