Joe Biden: I would have "beat the hell out of Trump" for disrespecting women

This is similar to his comment during the election when he said he would violate Trump in a locker.

Did he miss the past 6 months? Why was he silent on Harvey Weinstein, Al Franken, Kevin Spacey, John Lasseter, James Franco, Louis C.K., etc. etc.? How can Democrats say this with a straight face?

One thing we can agree on about Trump - he has exposed hypocrisy on both sides. Leftists used to always love to boast how they are about compassion/against the death penalty/non-violence etc. etc. but Trump has shined a light on them. And on the right as well.

The "We go high when they go low" motto was quickly thrown out the second Trump won LOL.

He hasn't missed anything. Perhaps you were too lazy to do some homework on the subject in favor of just posting to blast Democrats for hypocrisy again?

One thing we can agree on is that with Trump in the office and his transgressions against women - many people (notice my disclaimer there) can claim higher morale ground. That's not hypocrisy. It's fact.

Keep moving that goalpost. Go read your first post. But your motives are transparent.

I am not moving any goal posts.

He didn't say anything until he had to. Therefore it was not sincere.

I think Trump has the height/weight advantage but if Biden could at least get to his wig before being taken down it would all be worth it.

So you're OK with beating up political opponents?

Is that really the yardstick you want to use to measure? LOL. Ok.

Obama and Clinton were also super quiet about Weinstein until they were forced to talk. And Clinton STILL refused to give back his donations.

Biden took SEVEN days to issue a statement. In fact, he did a speech on sexual assault shortly after the scandal broke and didn't mention Weinstein at all.

Biden to speak about combating sexual assault, remains mum on Weinstein

    https://www.cnn.com/2017/10/10/politics/joe-biden-rutgers-harvey-weinstein/index.html

And then Democrats defended Al Franken despite photographic proof.

One thing Trump has done is expose people as hypocrites. Democrats can no longer take an anti-violent/death penalty and pro-woman stance.

Broad paintbrush there. Again, I don't think you want to use length of time as a yardstick to condemn Biden or other Dems. Trump has gone on for years denying he's sexually assaulted anyone (for example). That makes his a sexual predator, abuser, assaulter, liar and hypocrite. Enjoy using him as a "lighthouse"

Besides, doesn’t Trump have incapacitating foot spurs or some other thing that prevented him from ever earning that Purple Heart he so wanted?

    Whataboutism.

This is about Joe Biden, not Trump. Everyone knows Trump is a weirdo, but his slogan for 2016 wasn't "When they go low, we go high."

He would have been great, but he’s too old to be running for a first term. I would hope the Dems could come up with someone who would be good but would be younger.

The fail is so strong in this thread that it is so hard to even find this laughable. So very very hard.

    1. The failed attempt at trying to point out hypocrisy.
    2. The failed attempt at "being forced" to say something, when Biden said something a year ago, if not longer.
    3. The failed attempt to shift the goal post.
    4. The failed attempt to shift the goal post again.
    5. The failed attempt to bring in the straw man argument.
This thread is so full of fail that it could easily be wastelanded, but I'm willing to keep it open to see how much farther off the rails it can go.

I guess suggesting that you'd have beaten up a political opponent is better than suggesting that they be assassinated by the Second Amendment People.

You should ask your side the same question, as they went further and targeted them - crosshairs included.

Not sure he’s too old but if he ran and named Obama as his veep then it’s a win-win for America.

That would work, and keep Obama clear of the provisions of the 20th and 25th Amendments. However, that could also become justification for having a 29th Amendment to the Constitution. ;)

Umm no you cannot be Vice President if you’re constitutionally ineligible to be president. Obama is prohibited RE: 22nd amendment

Read the 22nd closer. It states:

    Bold/underlined for emphasis.

Obama could be elected vPOTUS, and upon succession should something happen to Biden, could become POTUS again, via line of succession. Nothing states there that they could be elected VPOTUS and then be elevated up to POTUS via death or resignation.
