VP Joe Biden said that had be been the democratic nominee for president that he would have beaten Donald Trump.

    Goes without saying.

HRC is probably the only one who could have lost to trump.

    Wow.

    Hey watch this.....

"I would have won easily had been the democratic nominee."

It's really easy to make hypothetical, impossible to prove statements.

Why stop there you could have been the Republican nominee. Just act like the craziest person in the room and you would have won.

I agree with Joe Biden. I would have considered voting him, and my wife would have voted him hands down instead of her write in.

Well it's post mortem analysis. You would admit that Biden was much more likable than Hillary

Hillary also had too much baggage to be a viable contender. If it wasn't for her being gifted the lifetime achievement award by the DNC she would not have gotten as far.

Well, it's also worth remembering that when Joe Biden made his decision not to run, nobody thought Donald Trump was going to be the Republican nominee. The smart money wrote him off as a stunt. They thought the Republican nominee was going to be Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio or Jeb! Bush.

And the thought of a 70-something-year-old going up against a vigorous young Senator, someone who could at least hold a rational debate on semi-solid political and policy grounds, didn't seem appealing.

And, make no mistake about it, the Conservative propaganda machine would have made an issue out of something. Biden was - and is - somewhat gaffe prone. He had been forced out of a Presidential run over an instance of plagiarism. (Gosh, what an era that must have bee!. When plagiarism was enough to disqualify someone in the minds of voters.)

If, three months before the election, Hillary Clinton had dropped out for whatever reason, Biden might have had a decent chance. But three months before the election, there didn't seem like there was a serious threat. We hadn't seen the effects of Wikileaks, and hacking, and the blizzard of fake news that Mr Putin was about to unleash on us all.

How much mud would the Clinton camp have thrown at Biden for getting into her spotlight. I don't think they had a warm relationship to begin with but how dirty could it have gotten.

Had Joe's son been healthy it would have changed a lot. Biden would have been in the race from the start and might have even been able to keep Hillary away.

Biden is about as awe-inspiring as oatmeal. He is deluding himself. I would have preferred him to Trump, but then again I would have preferred a manatee to Trump.

The problem with the three amigos is they got in their own way. Jeb! was a train wreck from the start and he was a Bush. Marco was too young. Cruz was too ball washery.

Whatever about gaffes they would have played up the creepy Biden stuff and he would have had even more trouble distancing himself from Obama than Hillary did.

Joe Biden is indulging in idle speculation, and at this point it's worthless.

I can only hope that when he's brushing his teeth in the morning, that kind of inner dialogue helps him face the day.

    Otherwise ...

I'm not sure what it is, but if I saw that on a sign after my morning jog, I would definitely inquire.
