Just bought a 2016 MacBook 1.1/8/256 for a family member for around $335

I figured this would be the perfect device.

I had some reward points saved up and a gift card.

I feel like I got a good deal.

Normally I’d recommend an iPad for that but at that price it’s a good deal.

Thanks! It was only so cheap because I had rewards points. But cash out of pocket was only around 335.

I'm thinking this device is enough.

I feel guilty not getting a new one for them, meaning the 2017 model refurbished from the Apple Store

But it would probably just be a waste of money given the use. I don't have any rewards points that can be used with the Apple store unfortunately.

Thanks. It has a 90 day warranty from the people I'm buying it from. So I suppose if I experience any problems they'll help.
