I've already fallen back in love with the classic design of the 5. And its so light and small and easy to use with one hand. Coming from a 6s plus, it was like night and day

Retina dislay is much improved compared to the 5s, speed is on par with the 6s with the A9 chip.

Now i'm seriously considering not using my 7 when it gets here, lol.

Lol great design.

It's the same display as the 5s. No differences. Agree on the design though.

They should make a jet black version of it. I'm sure it would be really nice

I bought a perfect condition used one.

Original plan was to sell it off when my 7 gets here

The SE is a nice phone. It reminds me of my old iPhone 5. I sold my 6S plus and got an SE because sprint gave me a $10 a month credit towards it. But seeing those trade in deals on a 7. I bought an old used iPhone 6 and am trading it in for a new 7. Some sites are a little annoying to use the SE on.

I went from a 6S Plus to a SE on release day. it was nice to be able to carry in my pocket again. The newness wore off so I went for the 7 Black and didn't realize how much I missed the bigger screen. No more Plus or SE for me, the 4.7 is juussstt right

Heh heh you may be right. I shall wait till I get my JB 7 before I make the decision on whether to keep the SE. I may just keep it anyway for old time sake

I previously owned the SE and it was a great iPhone. But the 7 has won me over. The extra screen real estate was much appreciated.

I bought a 7, non-plus as it is the perfect size for my hands. I tried the SE and it was too small, and I tried the plus, and it was too big. I believe the 7 is a perfect size. I kind of wish Apple just stretched out the iPhone 5 instead of having the designs we have now.

I sold my 6S a few weeks before the 7 was released and got myself an SE as a stopgap also and loved using a smaller phone again. Yes, it's so nice and easy to use with one hand. Even holding it to make phone calls was pleasant due to the smaller size.

Funny thing was that the thing I noticed immediately was how "slow" the first gen Touch ID sensor is. Sounds like such a stupid thing, probably like .5 sec vs .75 sec, but it was immediately noticed and mentally noted each time I used the sensor in the few weeks.

But I personally can't go back to the smaller screen as my permanent phone.

I was in a similar situation recently actually. I'm waiting for the new Tesla electric car to come out but decided to purchase a new Benz in the meantime to hold me off for a few weeks. ;)
I did that as well, but I sold my Ferrari and got a Lamborghini while waiting on my Bugatti to be built.

Then to find out the latest Benz wasn't available yet, so I had to get a BMW to wait for the benz to wait for the tesla. Jesus which one will I want to keep? Bummer for the BMW as I don't think it has turn signals :p!

I suppose if the SE was your first smartphone ever... otherwise the 4.7" screen is old news.

Nope. I owned the iPhone 6, then upgraded to the SE, missed the 4.7 size, sold the SE and upgraded back the 4.7 iPhone 7 for work and my Gold iPhone 7 Plus will be my personal iPhone when it arrives. And Size never gets old when the user has complete comfortability in the hand.
