    No- I'm not. But if he got them at Guantanamo, that's frightening given that they're preventable.

    Uh- yeah. One would think that perhaps those two illnesses would be something you would want loose in a place like Guantanamo, don't you think?

    I'm not trying to justify how he was treated or anything, but is there some source that actually verifies Memon was being held at Gitmo? It sounds like the family members aren't even of one mind about what exactly happened to him.

    If your country runs a system of camps where even the Red Cross are denied access, don't be surprised if speculation replaces hard fact.

    Exactly- there are going to be horror stories for decades. We've made a huge mistake here.
