I like the little silver one that came with my mac pro, and the little white mouse, but come on, they get so dirty !!!

will the above mouse and keyboard work with the mac pro as well?

they were intended for the imac/emac/g5 and g4 computers!!

or is there something better?

either blue tooth or usb, does not matter?

thanks!!

all suggestion will be appreciated unless they are dumb:apple::D

And the Gods came down and blessed the people of Earth with the... "Search Engine".

Both are USB - both will work. Any USB keyboard should work (with maybe a few key flips) and USB mouses should work as well (several with advanced controls, like the Logitech G9, do not have their advanced feature set in OSX).

I just was not sure if there would be any key mapping problems or something?

i have also heard good stuff about logitech, and blu tooth as well, but was not sure about the route i wanted to go?

thanks

Well, when I googled your part numbers, I came up with basically the Macintosh classic keyboard and mouse. The original 1,1 MacPros shipped with it AFAIK, so you should be fine.

I have never used a blutooth device. I like the standard it was based off of(it is VERY old IIRC) and how its managed to find a niche, but for personal use it is too expensive IMO.
